Leadership Development at UUCMC:
Harvest the Power
You are invited to join a new group exploring together the skills and dynamics of organizational leadership. We will be using the Harvest the Power curriculum created by the UUA and our own experience to shed a light on what makes effective leadership and what can help our congregation move forward with health and vitality. All current and potential leaders are welcome to attend the series.
We will meet the Wednesdays, September 24, October 22, November 19, December 17, January 21, February 18, March 18, 7 – 8:30 pm in the East room.
In order to register and receive any announcements and advance readings please email Virginia@uucmc.org
More from Harvest the Power:
Many Unitarian Universalists experience a deepening commitment to their faith and congregation as a call to accept a position of leadership—as a lay worship leader, a leader of children or youth or a member of a task force, committee or governing board. Harvest the Power provides leadership skill development that goes hand-in-hand with faith development. The program helps lay leaders grow in spirit as they grow as leaders.
Harvest the Power addresses the reality that today's leaders operate at a time of rapid cultural change, both in and outside our congregations. Leaders need a broad range of skills, both technical and visionary. The program's workshops offer opportunities for both new and experienced leaders to enrich the skills they bring to their leadership and to experience their leadership journey as a Unitarian Universalist faith journey.
